Prime Minister and investors discuss attracting investments to Georgia
Georgian Prime Minister Georgy Gakharia held a meeting with the Council of Investors in a videoconference format and discussed with its members issues of encouraging and attracting foreign investment to Georgia. This was announced on June 22 by the press service of the government. The Prime Minister and his advisers listened to recommendations on improving the investment environment in Georgia, discussed the promotion of the capital market in the country, reforms planned in the fields of energy and education of Georgia. It was also about attracting investment in agriculture. Georgy Gakharia said that his government, together with Georgian and foreign experts, is working on a long-term economic development plan, one of the main priorities of which will be to strengthen investment policy.
